Lydia Xia
Growing up, I never thought I’d end up working in politics. I grew up in an Arizona town where my family and I were part of less than 1% of the Asian-American population. I didn’t see anyone who looked like me in local political or organizing spaces.
So I looked to the internet to build my communities on forums and guilds. I’ve always had a calling to graphic design and the digital-scape. Now, I’m looking to continue my passions for utilizing digital strategy (social media, online fundraising and more) and visual design to help foster representation and advance progressive causes.
